We Welcome You!

Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Marshalltown, Iowa.

In the Episcopal Church, about 70% of our members were not born Episcopalians, but came from other denominations or from no church background at all.

So, what’s the draw? Just this.

Many people see the Episcopal church as a bridge or middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism.  While we have a deep appreciation for the ancient traditions of Christianity, most notably expressed in the timeless beauty of our style of worship, we also have a clear devotion to the Bible and a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.

Episcopalians embrace an open and generous Christianity. We strive to welcome everyone. Our longing is for God to form us into people who love God and neighbor, who are tolerant of differing theological perspectives and positions on social issues, and who wish to bring healing and hope to the world.

Our mission is to seek to know and accept God’s love in Jesus Christ and to bear witness to this love wherever we are and in whatever way we can.

If you would like to know more about our congregation, please do be in touch with us by calling or emailing our Church Office. If you wish to join us on a Sunday morning, we have in-person worship at 10:15 a.m.
