Potluck for Episcopal/Lutheran Residents at the
Iowa Veterans' Home
Twenty-six parishioners from St. Paul's and Trinity Lutheran hosted seven residents with a bountiful potluck of Iowa winter comfort food! Thank you to John Tully and Sheryl Readout for organizing this event.

And then, those trained for transporting residents in wheel chairs brought many more residents down for a concert by the Lincoln Highway Boys. Thank you to Jonathan Hull - our Lincoln Highway Boy! The band was in great form and all enjoyed the music - including one woman dancing/swirling in her electric wheel chair!

At the end of the evening, I was saying good-bye to one of the women who came to the potluck as she was waiting for someone to wheel her back to her room. I thanked her for coming, and she said, "Oh, this was a wonderful evening."
